Olympic Rollerblading

May 14, 2011 No Comments by

The site of the 2008 Beijing Olympics has been transformed into one big rollerblading park. I suppose that’s not the official use of the space, but the night I went to check it out that’s all that was happening. A million rollerblading chinese tourists around. It was fabulous!

The Bird’s Nest is just as strange looking as it was on tv.

And the Water Cube is just as awkward.

But I have to say, lit up at night, they were truly spectacular. After watching those buildings for weeks during that summer, to stand outside of them was awesome. Go Phelps!
